This marvelous pen & ink original drawing was originally published in The Sporting News, the most influential sports newspaper of the 20th century.  

This came directly from their archives which was sold at auction  about 20 years ago. We obtained a large collection of these drawings from . a gentleman who obtained them from this very same auction all those years ago. They will be listed each week on Evans Archive in the coming months. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: In many cases we were able to find the actual Sporting News issues showing this artwork being used. If you are lucky enough to win any of these we urge you to do the research and try to find the original issues matching them up. It will greatly enhance the value.
