DIGITECH XP-300 SPACE STATION CONVERSION for the XP-100 Whammy Wah, XP-200 Modulator, and XP-400 Reverberator - JETPACK MODS XP-300 MODIFICATION

If you are the proud owner of a XP-100 Whammy Wah, XP-200 Modulator, or a XP-400 Reverberator, this magical modification will convert your existing XP series pedal into the otherwordly XP-300 Space Station.

Yes, get all the trippy space-out sounds of Digitech XP300 Space Station: Synthy Swells, Shimmers, Atonal Ring Mods, Reverse Effects, Doppler Bends, Stratch-like DJ-Effects, Pitch-Shifted Delays, Wild Auto Wahs, Crazy Arpeggiators, and Mystical Sitar Simulations in your very own XP-100 Whammy Wah, XP-200 Modulator, or XP-400 Reverberator pedal.

NOTE: This auction is for the Jetpack Mods XP-300 modification ONLY. You will need to provide your own XP-100, XP-200, or XP-400 pedal and ship it to us for the actual mod. Again, this auction DOES NOT include an actual XP-300 Space Station pedal!

Since each of the XP series pedal requires different modifications and select component upgrades to make the proverbial jump to light speed, each Jetpack Mods XP-300 Conversion is a different price - most notably is the labor intensive XP-100. Please us the handy "Body Type" Pull-Down menu above to see what the XP-300 Conversion for your particular pedal will cost.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: Once your pedal is modded you will lose the host pedal’s sounds and presets. You will no longer have access to your old XP-100, XP-200, or XP-400 sounds and features - Your old pedal will be now be a Space Station - minus that gross yellowy color of course! Yes, we have the technology to allow switching between the old and new pedals (and we will do a switching mod for an extra charge), but the whole goal of this mod is to create a solid road-worthy pedal without all the extra moving parts or components that have proven to be problematic when tossed around in an old Econoline Van or kicked by crazy stage-divers.

In addition to the Jetpack Mods XP-300 Modifications, all pedals will be fitted and shipped with the following:

- New industrial grade pedal/treadle grip tape for a solid feel under foot - not only does it look extra stealthy, but it ensures that your rock moves keep on rocking (if you have any ''rock'' moves to begin with, of course).

- Both tactile switches within the unit will be replaced with high quality Mountain Switches that should provide you with years of care free switching action. No more tapping the switch a few times just to bypass the unit, or to bank up or down!

- The LED overlay will be cut and trimmed up - Jetpack style.

- If necessary, the rubber bumpers below the pedal/treadle will be replaced. These unassuming parts provide protection for the LED optical system that acts as a potentiometer for the toe/heel motion of the expression pedal. These bumpers occasionally fall of, become brittle, or are sliced in half from heavy use. Others have been removed by users who like the extra throw, or travel, of the pedal, without knowing they could be damaging the internal optics. We’ve seen our fair share of shattered LEDs and its not pretty - don’t be that guy or gal. Leave the rubber bumpers alone, they are your friends.

NOTE: In the case of the XP-100 Whammy Wah, the stereo functionality that is normally missing in this particular pedal (i.e. Effect Out / Dry Out) will be fully restored to take advantage of the cool stereo tricks of the Space Station presets.

POWER SUPPLY INFORMATION: If your XP’s current Power Supply is below 1.0A, you may want to consider picking up our beefy aftermarket 1.5AMP Power Supplies. The stock 820mA power supplies that originally shipped with the XP units were woefully undernourished and these new 1.5A units will help you avoid dreaded digital dropouts and annoying resets, and make sure you your gigs and studio sessions go smoothly. Check the Pull-Down menu for the additional cost of adding a Power Supply to your mod.

TURNAROUND TIME: Upon the auction’s close, we will send you our mailing address so you can ship your pedal to us. We will keep you updated throughout the modification process and then ship it back to you - complete with tracking information. At the moment, we are running around 5-7 days for turnaround. That is, it will take 5-7 days from the time your pedal arrives here at the Jetpack Compound until we can mod it, and then ship it out again.

USA SHIPPING: The shipping price covers the return shipping of your newly modified pedal, with insurance in the amount of $350. You will be in charge of getting your pedal to us. We have had great success over the years with USPS Priority Medium Flat Rate Shipping. We highly recommend this fine government entity. You can get the boxes for FREE at the Post Office and base shipping - without insurance - shouldn’t be more than $12. That said, we highly recommend adding insurance for the journey. While we’ve never had to make a claim, we like the piece of mind that only insurance can bring. FedEX Ground or Home Delivery has also been reliable and economical.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Since we are sent XPs from all around the globe, it’s hard for us to recommend a shipping service to get your prized pedal out your individual country and onto our shores. Do your research and decided what’s best. We will ship your modded pedal back to you using USPS Flat Rate Priority International.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS & POWER SUPPLIES: Since most of the rest of the world runs on 220v power, we recommend purchasing a dedicated 1.5A 9 Volt AC power supply from your region. We can send you the specs and help you with mail order sources. Get a dedicated 220v 9 Volt AC power supply! Using 110v-to-220v converters isn’t the best route. They are bulky and above all, very ugly. That said, we’ll sell you a 110v power supplies if you want one.

CONTACT: If you have any questions, please send us a note. We’ve been modding the XP series for years and can answer most questions about them.
