The application flexibility of the AD630 makes it ideal for applications that require precision fixed gain, switching gain, multiplexing, integrated switching functions, and high precision amplification.
The AD630's 100 dB dynamic range exceeds any hybrid or IC balanced modulator/demodulator, which can be compared to the dynamic range of expensive signal processing instruments.
The AD630's op amp design makes it easy to achieve high gain or complex switching feedback. Applying resistors helps to achieve the most common applications without the need for additional devices.
The AD630 can be used as a 2-channel multiplexer with a gain of 1, 2, 3, or 4. The 100 dB channel isolation at 10 kHz is close to the limit that can be achieved with an empty IC package.
In most cases, the comparator laser adjustment and amplification channel offset eliminate the need for external zero calibration
