ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Geraldine Girvan was born in Derby in 1947 and studied at
Edinburgh University. She trained at Edinburgh College of Art where the artist
was influenced by both the college’s Principal, Sir William Gillies, and her
tutors, Elizabeth Blackadder and Alex Campbell, who contributed to providing a
decisive inspiration in the direction of her career. The artist specialises in
water colours including cats, flowers and landscapes. There are many examples
of her fine works and brush strokes found online.
