The DS3000 pad has reduced bedding in time over other racing brake pads (approximately 50% quicker than other materials), the DS3000 feature:

 • Average friction coefficient 0.48 over working temperature range of 200°-650°C

 • High initial bite

• Predictability and control because of the unvarying torque output

 • Low off-brake drag when using DS3000 on lighter racing cars lower brake pressures will be required to achieve the required deceleration.

The Ferodo racing DS3000 pad has been tested to its limits and subjected to rigorous development procedures. Many years of development have been put into the DS300 pad meaning it now meets the exacting demands of motor sport, hundreds of friction formulations have been developed and rejected.
