Eleva la tensione in ingresso (compresa tra 10V e 32V) fino 12-35V in uscita (regolabile con trimmer) e 6A massimi di corrente in uscita.
Per carichi fino a 100W è sufficiente la dissipazione in aria naturale.
Per carichi maggiori di 100W (max 150W a temperatura esterna < 45C°) o per uso prolungato è comunque necessario una dissipazione forzata con ventola esterna.
Ideale per alimentare con normali alimentatori / batterie a 12V apparecchi con tensioni di alimentazione più elevata come Notebook o Led di potenza .
Per l'alimentazione dei PowerLed consigliamo però di tenere la tensione in uscita circa 3V in meno rispetto al valore minimo del led perchè non essendo un driver e quindi non avendo una corrente costante, c'è il rischio di fornire una corrente maggiore al PowerLed compromettendone la sua durata.
Non è protetto contro i corto circuiti, pertanto consigliamo di installare un fusibile in uscita (10A ) e possibilmente un diodo
(di potenza idonea per la corrente che lo deve attraversare) per proteggerlo contro eventuali inversioni di polarità accidentali.
Tenere al riparo da schizzi d'acqua e dal pericolo di contatto con parti metalliche.
