Description: Card mounted photograph; approximately 4 ¼” x 7”; undated, but likely 1890s based on the mount and photographer. The bottom of the mount states “A.M. Rothschild & Co., State Street/VanBuren Street, Chicago. Original non-ethnic tattoo images from this period are scarce.

Condition: There is some smudging and soiling to the photo and card. The upper left corner has a small chip and light crease not affecting the image. The photograph remains in Good to Good++ condition. (Please see photos).

SHIPPING: Items will be shipped by USPS at actual cost plus a 75 cent handling fee. The exact amount can be determined before purchasing by using the postage calculator provided through the “Shipping and payments” tab on this page. All postage costs and any taxes will be the responsibility of the buyer including sales tax for Illinois residents and import duties for international orders if required. International customs forms will list the item as “Merchandise” at the actual selling price.  

RETURNS: Returns are allowed within 14 days for any reason but notification of any return must be made to the seller within 24 hours of receipt as documented by USPS Delivery Confirmation. Failure to do so for any reason will void the return option.
