Tiffany Stone (Opalized Fluorite) Pendant. Sterling Silver. Total length of pendant including bail is approximately 1 1/2 inch. The Tiffany Stone is about 15/16 inch across and about 1/8 inch thick. Rare stone from Utah. Tiffany Stone is mostly Opalized Fluorite with other minerals included such as Rhodonite, Agate or Dolomite. It is found in only one location in Utah which is the site of a Beryllium mine, so not much of the material is saved for ornament.  Beautiful purple and pinkish areas with black and white - vertical black internal fracture line in upper left quadrant.
