Thanks for looking. This is made from laser cut 1.5mm Stainless Steel. It has been slotted to make it easier to fit.

It gives a cleaner pick up at lower revs because it stops exhaust gas being recycled. The engine management light should not come on because of blanking the EGR, and has not come on with a long term tests.

PLEASE CHECK THAT IT IS THE ENGINE IN THE PICTURES, as the earlier DW10BTED4 engine has a very different EGR system which is fitted to the rear of the engine and the oil filler cap is on the right of the engine, not on the left as pictured. I have item number 110907922480 and others for that engine.The EGR valve is located under the inlet manifold on the front of the engine. The only part visible, is the hot cold vacuum unit.

This fits The Euro5 PSA DW10C TED4 2.0L (not DW10B TED4) 16 valve 1997cc HDI engine only ( known as Duratorq in Fords) Pictured in the header pictured.

I now have the Euro 6 DW10 FC and DW10 FD listed- item number121892830456 and 121892842394.

Euro 4 PSA DW10B TED4 engine (ITEM NUMBER 111437402852), Euro 3 or 4 Ford Puma engine ( item number 110903465359).

Benefits of blocking EGR

   1. Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.

   2. Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs

   3.  Prevents soot build up in intake manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power

   4. Smoother drive

   5. DPF/FAP regenerates less as there is less soot to trap

Hi, the car has done close on 1000 miles since this was fitted without any issue or warning lights . Computer is currently reading 50.3mpg where normally its 47-49ish.

This included a trip "up north" to Fort William with 4 adults and a child plus a boot full of stuff! Most of this drive is windy single carriageway.
