CPU also works on AM2+ chipset, as well as AM3 (check you motherboard compatibility list). Motherboard must support 125 Watt CPUs, otherwise it will not work !

Before buying a CPU make sure it is compatible with your motherboard! The incompatibility of processor and motherboard is not ground for a refund processor!
