2005 - 2010 Jefferson Nickel 14 Coin Philadelphia & Denver Satin Strike Set

Up for sale is a 2005 - 2010 Jefferson Nickel satin coin set featuring all of the satin strike Jefferson Nickels which the mint has produced.  In 2005 - 2010 the US mint released special "satin" strike (also referred to as SMS or special mint sets) coins in lieu of regular circulation strike coins in the "mint" sets.  This set contains all of the Jefferson satin coins (7 P and 7 D), none of which were released into general circulation and only released in those six years by purchasing full US mint sets therefore leading to relatively low mintage coins.  In 2005, as part of the 200th Anniversary of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, two special release nickels were released, one with a Bison on the reverse and one with the "Western Waters" design.  Both of the 2005 Nickels (in P and D) are in this set.  Mint set coins also tend to be of higher quality than regular circulation strike coins due to their more careful mint handling.  These coins will be shipped in their original mint "cello" packaging which I have cut from their respective yearly mint sets. Included in this set are the following 14 coins:
