*Tragus/cartilage piercings are located in the hard section of the cartilage that sticks out in front of the ear canal and are generally 16 gauge. Jewelry can be used in many ear piercings: helix, rook, daith, etc., as well as eyebrow, lips and other 16 gauge piercings, based on shape and personal preference.
*Note: if your piercing was done at the mall and NOT a professional piercer, it is probably only a 20 gauge and this item will be too thick.
