Motorcycle Petrol Fuel Filter

The most common failures for motorcycles and mopeds are fuel related issues, it is important to replace your fuel filter at regular service intervals to prevent harmful particles entering your fuel injectors or carbs. Tiny amounts of grit can also enter your engine through the fuel system causing your engine to prematurely wear even the toughest of engines. We advise changing your fuel filter with a high quality replacement regularly, lower quality filters can still allow small particles to pass through. 

Planning a motorcycle touring holiday?

Be aware that many countries have very basic petrol pump facilities , it is advisable to take precautions when filling up your tank as the fuel isn't always filtered from the pumps. We advise changing your fuel filter before you leave as well as taking a spare if you plan a long journey to countries with deserts, floods etc. You can also sieve your fuel before it enters your tank for extra precaution.
