Enamelled Looped Barbell Toggle Fastener

A very rare type Celtic Enamelled Looped Barbell toggle fastener.
In the form of a round bar with bulbous terminals.
It is decorated with three enamelled cells that run around the central circumference of the
body.
The two side cells have red enamel
and the underside cell is probably white but has discoloured with age.
Projecting from the top of the main body is an oval shaped loop for the stitching to pass
through.
Such fittings were used as toggles to fasten garments, passing through a slit or loop.
A rare piece of British Iron Age / Celtic history in very nice as found condition.
