1950s probably garage-made electric guitar project. It looks to me to be cut from a single piece of wood, though it might have body wings glued to a neck-thru slab. The top is a layer of Formica glued to it.

It’s 31.5” long. It has a 24” scale length. The 18-fret neck is screwed onto the neck and body. The Formica needs to be reglued at the edges, and there is a crack in it on the lower treble bout. It weighs 3 lbs, 9 ounces in its stocking feet. Some minor housekeeping, a bridge/tailpiece, pickup nut and tuners and you’ll have the snuggest little weirdo of a guitar around.
