Common question : Are they water proof ? YES These Ballasts work completly submerged under water. Here is a pic of a ballast opened up - see how it is fully sealed and nothing can possibly get wet, even if water did get inside the ballast. See also that it is totally digital and not the old analog style. As such it is more reliable and much faster to fire up when you turn it on.
So why buy from me rather than Hong Kong ?? Well I am in Melbourne and I stand by my 12 month warranty. When I was setting up I went through about 15 suppliers in China who all offered me a warranty but I found these to be useless. What's the point replacing rubbish with more rubbish - that didn't solve my problems. I have done the miles and gone through the pain to find the best components from China, Korea and Germany depending upon the kit. Remember, a cheap kit is not cheap once you throw it out. HID lights work by passing electricity through xenon gas. There is no fragile element. To blow a globe you have to physically break it.

Here's an explanation for each... Halogen is incandescent meaning power runs through a very fine wire which glows hot. It is surrounded by Halogen gas which not only contains no oxygen so there can be no rusting but Halogen shines brightly when heated. LED (Light Emitting Diode) has come ahead in leaps and bounds and offers very bright light especially up close to the vehicle. The light source is over a larger area and so it spreads wide to the delight of most drivers but much of it is not in the focal point of the light and so doesn't travel great distance. HID (High Intensity Discharge) trumps everything with exceptional brightness and very long range. The light output of HID is amazing. HID works by passing a constant spark or arc of electricity across a field of Xenon gas. To achieve such an arc the volts are increased by ballasts which transform 12v or 24v to 23,000 volts. By it's very nature power at those volts wants to short out and so it is imporatnt to stick with quality brands such as JTX when using HID to maintain reliability.
