These are multi purpose crystal beam lights. Ideal for great forward projection vision.
These Halo rings are clear when not turned on so it's like they are not there at all. And when you turn them on they shine green. The Halo rings have their own power and earth wire and so they may be operated with or without the headlights being on.
I have tried a lot of lights. The ones that stood out as the best all rounders happened to be the ones with the bling LED rings .. go figure. It has nothing to do with the LED ring - they just started with a light that was already a favourite and then added the bling.
The size is 143mm or 5 3/4" round and they suit all 5 3/4" applications.. Note that there are some 146mm lights out there in this fierce marketplace of copycats and in many cases the 146mm lights are too big for your surrounds. We went out of our way to source 143mm lights so as not to have that problem.
They are a direct replacement of your normal 5 3/4" round sealed or semi sealed head lights.
Fitting is dead easy. Remove the outer metal retainer (3 screws) and the light falls forward into your hands. Just unplug the old and plug in the new. Re-position the light and screw in the retainer and you are done. There is no need to remove the grill or headlight surrounds. The locating lugs on the back will make sure they are the right way up.
These are excellent all rounder lights. The reflector is made of steel and is shaped to project light as far forward as possible with good side vision. The slightly curved glass lens is smooth so as to not interrupt the long distance light and eliminates light scatter which makes it ideal for HID applications.
A common question relates to Heat resistance with a view to running hi wattage globes or HID kits. There is no problem here. Made from steel and glass they withstand extreme temperatures.
Semi Sealed lights allow you to retro fit H4 globes which gives us great choices in brighter globes like our 90/100, 90/130 or our HID kits. They have a sturdy rubber boot to keep dust and water out.
These lights have the provision for a wedge style park light globe. You dont need to run these and some people use the LED Halo for their park light but many people want the park globe provision so we had these made with that in mind.
The LED ring is white. When turned on it is clearly visible during the day, it's that bright. They can be wired up to a switch on the dash or you can hook them up to the park lights. They are legal so long as you dont disconnect your old park lights.
These dont come with globes. Here in my ebay store I offer you a choice of globes as follows (below). Just buy what you want and I shall combine your items.

These lights are semi sealed. That means they take globes and they have a rubber boot that prevents dust and water from getting into the light.
Globes are not included with the lights as we offer a variety of globe options. We do have a huge range of globe options from normal to high power and also HID.
The face (Lens) is glass and the backing (Reflector) is steel. There is no plastic in these lights and they can run super hot globes and there will be no fading or discoloration.

These are 5 3/4" (143mm) round headlights and they fit all 5 3/4" round applications.
There are 2 common sizes out there - cars with single headlights (just 2 all up) tend to all be 7". While vehicles with twin headlights (4 all up) tend to all be 5 3/4". If you have any doubts just run a tape measure across the face and it becomes pretty obvious as it will either be 5 3/4" (approx 143mm) or 7" (approx 178mm).
These are ADR compliant and legal in all states. It is common for people to buy these to pass a Road worthy or to get an imported car registered in Aus.
