We are offering a very beautiful medal from the United Kingdom, the 1885 British Silver Medal Issued to Commemorate the International Inventions Exhibition, London, Queen Victoria Obverse, Engraved by L.C.  Wyon.     The medal is listed as number 3197 by Laurence Brown in his "British Historical Medals 1760-1960, Volume 2, The Reign of Queen Victoria 1837-1901,"   and as number 1715 in Eimer's "British Commemorative Medals and Their Values."   This medal is 45.54 mm in diameter and is made of silver (I had it tested and it came back 95% silver content)(with a total weight of 1.616 ounces or 45.69 grams).   The medal has gorgeous gray toned silver surfaces, with blue highlights and sharp high relief detail.   It would be a very nice addition to your collection.
