Extreme detail from a hand worked intaglio plate. Even mentions a rabbit burrow!

Printed originally in four parts, they have been bonded together using sympathetic papers and then lined with Japanese tissue. Should be good for well over 150 years with care.

The maps joined well where the detail is but over lapped in the north and south .

The image size is 62 x 87 cm. The paper size is a little larger.
