This is a premium quality cream or ivory coloured real carved cattle bone nut suitable to upgrade the standard plastic part on any Stratocaster or Telecaster type guitar with a flat nut base (so not for the American Deluxe for example, which is fitted with a nut with a curved base) with a 42mm nut standing 6mm to 5.5mm high and 3.5mm thick with a slightly curved top and a flat bottom. This hard wearing carved bone nut provides superb acoustic coupling between the strings and neck of your guitar, for a tight, crisp sound.

Note that some import / clone strats may require a thinner 2.9mm nut, so check and see our other listing before ordering! Also, like any other pre-shaped nut, your guitar may just be a little different from the manufacturers model assumption, so you may have to do a little finishing / sanding for the perfect fit to your guitar.

Supplied individually, this nut is 42mm wide, with string grooves measuring 33.8mm across.

See our other listing for a 43mm bone Strat / Tele nut.

If you are ordering from more than one of our listings, note that we can offer you reduced combined shipping ONLY if you use "Buy it now" on all items then request a total from seller BEFORE making payment. We will then send you a combined shipping eBay invoice to pay. This is NOT possible if you have already paid for any of the items you are ordering.

Customers in Italy please note that due to the high number of orders that vanish and never arrive whilst in the hands of the Italian postal system, we will only send orders under £22 in value to Italy via standard untracked airmail. If your items total more than £22, please arrange to pay for tracked and signed shipping so that your order may be shipped safely and securely. If this option is not offered in the listing, please use the following listing to pay the extra cost of this.

Also note that orders sent to Italy may take MUCH longer than eBays estimate to be delivered and, whilst some orders do arrive within a week or two, many orders sent to Italy are not delivered for three or perhaps even four weeks! This is entirely outside our control, as we ship within two working days and once your order is in the hands of Poste Italiane, there is nothing we can do to get it to you any faster.

Please DO NOT send messages with the title "Item not received" as these open complaint cases against us and damage our seller rating! Instead please use the general "Other" heading to ask about your delivery if several weeks have passed.

Lastly, all please note that when eBay asks you "Did the item arrive on or before" their estimated delivery date, it also damages our seller rating if you answer "No", so bear in mind that we always ship within two working days, so if you answer "No" because your local postal service (especially in Italy!) has taken weeks to deliver, you are punishing us, not them!

Thank you all for your kind consideration of the above and remember that we will always do our very best to sort out any problems or questions you may have related to your order if you contact us using the "Contact Seller" and (if the choice is given) "Other" ask a question of seller options.
