Up for your consideration is an original drawing that I have done, based on the wonderful and magical animated series 'My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic'. Like so many others, I have fallen in love with this show and am a long-time fan of MLP from it's beginning in the 1980s. I have worked with Prismacolor Art Pencils since I was a child and have always loved drawing animated characters. I have worked hard to get my pictures accurate to the colors, proportions and spirit of the show. This is drawn on high quality, acid-free Bristol art paper. The quality of the Prismacolor pencils are truly the best - as they are highly saturated, vibrant and resist fade over the years. I have drawings from many years ago that look just as good today because of the wonderful quality of these materials.
Scene Description:
It's Hearts & Hooves Day and the Cutie Mark Crusaders are convinced that their amazing teacher Miss Cheerilee deserves to have a Very Special Somepony to enjoy the holiday with! After an extensive search, they decide that the soft-spoken Big MacIntosh should be their teacher's love interest. However, when can't get a romance sparked, they turn to some mischievous magic to bring the two ponies together! Mixing up a love potion seems to do the trick (for a little while) and the well-intentioned little fillies celebrate their success over a romantic picnic.
