Up for your consideration is an original drawing that I have done, based on the wonderful and magical animated series 'My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic'. Like so many others, I have fallen in love with this show and am a long-time fan of MLP from it's beginning in the 1980s. I have worked with Prismacolor Art Pencils since I was a child and have always loved drawing animated characters. I have worked hard to get my pictures accurate to the colors, proportions and spirit of the show. This is drawn on high quality, acid-free Bristol art paper. The quality of the Prismacolor pencils are truly the best - as they are highly saturated, vibrant and resist fade over the years. I have drawings from many years ago that look just as good today because of the wonderful quality of these materials.
 
 
This picture comes from a favorite episode 'Fall Weather Friends' and features Ponyville's two most competitive and feisty ponies - Applejack and Rainbow Dash! An afternoon of friendly games at Sweet Apple Acres turns into a full blown 'Iron Pony' challenge to determine the strongest athlete in town. Applejack and Rainbow Dash seal the agreement with a hoof bump and the competition is on! A fabulous piece for any fan of MLP and SO perfect for the upcoming Autumn season!
