Jacquard iDye Fabric Dye Poly & Nylon 14g. For polyester and nylon fabrics.

Dyes 1 - 1.3kg of fabric.

iDye Poly is for synthetic fibres such as polyester and nylon. It even works on some plastics, buttons, frisbee discs, 3D printed objects and more!

The dye comes in an easy to use dissolvable dye packet, so there are never any messy powders to handle: simply drop the packet in a pot of water, add your fabric and bring to the boil.

For blended fabrics that contain both synthetic and natural fibres, use iDYE for Natural Fibres with the corresponding iDYE Poly colour, AT THE SAME TIME! or, for more interesting, two tone, heather effects, try pairing two different colours.

iDYE Poly may also be used for sublimation printing techniques and to dye the polyester threads that are used to sew commercially manufactured garments.

Read entire instructions before beginning, using the stove top method for iDye Poly and polyester blends with constant agitation for uniform colour.

Please note that all synthetic fibres are not created equal. Results will vary depending on type of fabric. Polyester is hard to dye and requires very high water temperature to achieve good colour. Therefore we only recommend dyeing polyester with the stovetop method.

Jaquard dyes are used worldwide and are produced under strict quality controls. If possible do a test first. As fabric dying is not an exact science, Barnyarns cannot be responsible for any dying mishaps!

Note: Instructions above are for achieving the most vibrant colour. For lighter shades, dissolve dye packet in small container with hot water. Add dissolved dye to the dye bath in the appropriate amount to achieve desired shade. Keep in mind that colour will deepen the longer the fabric is in the dye bath.
