Antique English Lacquered Papier Mache Letter Holder; Up for sale is this antique English lacquered papier mache letter holder with all hand painted and gold gilt floral, birds and butterfly in Japonais style, dated late 19^th century. With two removable slats as separators, the letter holder displays all around craquelures, showing that they are either as part of the process of aging or of their original production.

Measures: 6 ½” wide x 3” deep x 6” high. Condition: very good antique condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use.
