A fine antique French Cello with a beautiful refined sound, fine projection, and a rare one piece back. A wonderful opportunity for a soloist or collector.

2021 updated and original Insurance letters (*see photos) from a world famous and respected appraiser in New York City it to be 'French Violoncello, Laberte Workshop, c. 1910, bearing the interior brand “MILLOT”, and 'a fine example of the higher level of production of the Laberte workshop, in good condition'. The string length is 675 millimeters (26.57 inches), and the back length is 748 millimeters. The cello is expertly set up, has new strings currently and is performance ready.

Long used professionally as my main solo, chamber, and orchestral instrument, and purchased originally with papers from Master Luthier and Appraiser Dario D'attili. The previous owner was a Julliard faculty member, Soloist, and Principal Cellist of the New Jersey Symphony.
