This pair of earrings is set with authentic 2000 year old Roman Glass, made by the ancient Romans around 2 B.C..
The glass was found in archeological diggings and has been authenticated and certified as a genuine antique.
A Certificate of Authenticity from Ben Sadya will be included.
Roman Glass comes from vases, jars and other glassware left behind by the people of the Roman Empire. This glass has
been buried for 2000 years. It has a wonderful iridescent patina that develops from all those centuries in the ground.
Indoors the glass shows mostly blue, silver and pink. Outdoors, golden-yellow and green show as well.
I've tried to capture the scintillation of the glass through showing different angles in the photographs.
But, it's really more beautiful in person.
The 14k gold setting is skillfully handcrafted with exquisite detail. It's marked 14k gold.
It will be sent in its original box.
