Also this product will work with any classic 70’s and 80’s videogame system that has a external RCA channel 2, 3, or 4 output jack on the outside of the console case.  However this high quality 18 gauge RG-6U cable will not work with some videogame and computer systems that have a internal RCA channel 2,3, and 4 output since the cable is too thick to be routed internally inside the videogame console. Therefore before ordering make sure your videogame and computer system has a physical RF channel 2,3, or 4 output jack where the cable can be connected to the outside of the console (videogame and computer systems where a physical RF cable runs inside to an internal RF output jack may not work with this product since the cable will be too thick). ****

 (We carry many different lengths of cables. When ordering a cable keep in mind that in the analog world the shorter the cable the better the picture and sound quality well be. Therefore, it is recommended not to order a cable that is longer then what you really need if the goal is to obtain the best picture and sound quality possible. Also the shorter the cable the less the cable will cost)

This shielded cable with Gold plated adapter offers a direct connection to the ColecoVision, ADAM, and many other classic 70’s and 80’s videogame and computer systems. This is a better quality connection when compared to the TV RF switch box. In fact if one is using a cable box, satellite receiver, or external ATSC/QAM tuner, then a TV switch box is not even needed because the cable box or satellite receiver is connected to the TV/Monitor with a HDMI connection or other video input to the TV like component video, S-Video, or composite video.

Many classic videogame and computer systems from the 70’s and 80’s only have a RF channel 2 and 3 or channel 3 and 4 output, and require this high quality cable with adapter. Almost 100% of CRT TV's and flat panels will work with this cable with 75 ohm adapter (If the CRT TV was manufactured before the year 1990, then a 75ohm to 300ohm adapter might be required on some TV's manufactured in the 80's).

Question: Are these cables shielded?

Answer: These high-end RG-6 Gold plated cables are shielded. The manufactory of these cables sometimes use QUAD shield cables while other times they use double shielded cables when making the cables. Therefore, at the very minimum all RG-6 cables ordered well be double shielded and sometimes the RG-6 cables well be QUAD shielded.
