INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Parodontal gel based on chondroitin sulfate and chlorhexidine 
for surgical dentistry

PURPOSE
Parodontal gel “Paro-dent” is used for relieve swelling and inflammation of the tissues of the oral cavity in the practice of surgical dentistry, trauma, fractures, splinting of the jaws, as well as for prevention and treatment of parodontitis, gingivitis and stomatitis.

FEATURES

Parodontal gel “Paro-dent”” contents chondroitin sulfate (sulfated glycosaminoglycans - sGAG), promotes healing of inflamed periodontal due to the synergistic action aimed at reducing the activity of proteolytic enzymes and hyaluronidase bacterial flora. Normalizing the metabolism in the epithelial cells and gum fibroblasts chondroitin sulfate rapidly reduces swelling and gum bleeding, promotes the localization of inflammation, preventing the spread of the surrounding tissues. Chondroitin sulfate significantly improves the condition of dentin and odontoblast exchange.

Chlorhexidine bigluconate (in low concentration) has a broad spectrum of activity against gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria and fungal flora. Due to the residual activity it provides the duration of bactericidal effect on microorganisms that form plaque, helps prevent and treat gingivitis, reduces inflammation of the gums. 
 Application of gel “Paro-dent” after surgical operations improves overall metabolism in tissues due to normalization of vascular microcirculation. 
 Gel “Bioplast-Dent” is well tolerated by patients with prolonged use and do not cause allergic reactions. 

DIRECTION FOR USE 

It is necessary the stored or transported at low temperatures material to stand at room temperature for at least 1 hour before applying. 
 Gel “Paro-dent” is easy to use, both at home and in dental clinics. 
 Gel “Paro-dent” is used in the term of oral baths: 
-For quick stopping of recrudescence - by parodontitis, gingivitis and stomatitis during the first day to apply 5-6 times in the next 8-10 days - 2 times a day, holding for 3 minutes in the mouth. Remove the gel by rinsing.

-For the prevention of recrudescence and maintaining the state of parodontal tissues (for nutrition of parodontal tissues) - applied daily 2 times a day morning and evening, keeping during 3 minutes in the mouth. Remove the gel by rinsing. 

In the practice of surgical dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery gel “Paro-dent” is used before and after surgical procedures to remove swelling and inflammation of oral mucosa.
