This is a lovely ornate silver plated locket depicting a colour John Tenniel illustration of the White Rabbit with a Trumpet from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures Underground. 

It has two Tibetan silver charms depicting playing cards and the rabbit with the trumpet either side of the locket secured onto the necklace with rings.

The silver plate locket measures 32mm x 25mm (approx.) and the image is secured behind a 13mm x 18mm (approx.) raised glass cabochon setting.

The interior of the locket measures 16mm x 23mm x 3mm (approx.)

 The chain measures 18” in length.

Please note the locket is not sterling silver, it is silver plated, which means it is a thin coating of silver over a base metal of usually copper or brass.

Please note that although the locket is waterproof, it is not advisable to wear in the bath/shower as prolonged exposure to moisture could loosen the glass cabochon from its setting.
