NEW top shelf ladies 1940s50s cocktail watch band from high end US maker Kreisler. 10K Yellow gold filled top and stainless steel bottom. Appx 5 1/4" inches long and will stretch in the middle appx 1/2 inch or so. The side panels do not stretch, but are very pliable. Rich pattern, light reflecting links and easy to attach hook ends. 2 piece band, double center buckle with safety chain. Very classy band from top maker.
From stored inventory of long closed jeweler. Case shows wear from age and band may need a wipe or buff to bring out it's brilliance and get out any minute surface scuffs from handling or storage.
By buying this band, buyer is assumed to understand it's use and is familiar with the proper attaching to a watch.
Gold fill was a process where a sheet of gold was bonded by high heat to a sheet of base metal. In this case 5% of the metal thickness is 10K gold...much more gold than today's electroplating, where just a thin film is added that wears off quickly.
