AA-JA11113 is a battery balance and protection board designed for 3pcs 18650 Lithium batteries in series, featuring full protection and high reliability, which improves the portability of the whole audio system and is a perfect rechargeable power supply solution for portable speakers. When fully charged, this battery board can provide 12.6V output voltage. With full awareness of the importance of operation safety, we employ overcharge, over-discharge, discharge overcurrent, short circuit, charge overcurrent and over-temperature protections in this battery board. The protection circuit will keep constantly monitoring the voltage and current of each cell. In addition, the Lithium-ion battery balance and protection extension board provides external bleeding for cell-capacity balance function to avoid unbalanced capacity between each cell.

Please note that charging circuit is not equipped in this battery board. If you want to recharge the batteries, make sure you have a JAB1 / JAB2 at hand as they are equipped with MPPT charging circuit.

AA-JA11112 is an interface extension board in compact size for use with JAB1 / JAB2 to provide customers with a simple panel amount solution. It provides a 3.5mm AUX IN port for line input, 2CKTS USB ports for powering other devices, a switch button to control the system and LED indicators to have a better overview of the system condition. The connection is very easy. The only thing you need to do is to connect this board with JAB1 / JAB2 via a 10pin cable. When this extension board is connected with JAB1 / JAB2, it will be powered by JAB1/ JAB2, so there is no need of an extra power supply, which is convenient and saves much space.

Panel Amount Solution

With the pre-mounted interfaces, this extension board can be a panel amount solution for Jukecase, Boombox and portable Bluetooth speakers with JAB1 / JAB2.

Available for BC1.2 Protocol

The 2-port USB charger on interface extension board supports USB charging specification, revision 1.2 (BC 1.2) which could automatically config D+ and D- lines connections for an attached device. This interface extension board automatically adjusts its output level based on the connected device. It is compatible with smartphones and tablets from Apple, Samsung, HTC, Google and BlackBerry. In addition, this extension board can charge up to two devices at the same time, which can get more output than ordinary dual-port chargers. A maximum output of 5.25V/2.1 A brings you to a whole new level of high-speed charging.

Equipped with Ground Isolation

When using sing-ended input, there may be ground noise, which is quite annoying. The interface extension board is equipped with ground isolation, which can reduce the ground noise effectively.

It is quite difficult to assemble the audio amplifier boards into a closed space in most Kiosk and Jukebox applications. To improve the connection and debugging efficiency and save the cost on installations, Sure Electronics provides a 3.6’’ x 2.7’’ L-style aluminum bracket for JAB series. The aluminum bracket supports vertical and horizontal installation ways to satisfy different installation requirements. With 4 M3 screw lock standoffs and 2 M3 pre-drilled mounting holes, the JAB series audio amplifier boards could be installed on the bracket easily.

In addition to JAB series, all the amplifier boards in 3.6’’ x 2.7’’ can be used with this L-style bracket for convenient connection and integration into kiosk cabinet or other systems.
