Frontline for Cats

Frontline Spot On for Cats is a spot on solution for the treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations and for the control of biting lice in cats.

Each pipette of Frontline contains 50mg of Fipronil. Fipronil is an insecticide that disrupts the insect central nervous system which then causes them to die. Once applied, Frontline causes hyperexcitation and this will mean that you will notice more fleas on your animal. Don't worry, this means it's working!

Each pipette contains 0.5 ml of liquid and will treat a cat weighing up to 6.6kg.

How to apply Frontline: Hold the pipette upright. Tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure that the contents are within the main body of the pipette. Break back the snap-off top along the scored line.

Part the fur between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze gently to empty the contents onto the skin at two spots; one at the base of the skull and one 2-3cm further back.

It is important to make sure the product is applied to an area where the cat cannot lick the product off. Always make sure that other cats do not lick the area either.

Once applied, Frontline will last for up to one month.

It is recommended to not bathe your cat within 2 days of applying Frontline.

Do not treat any cats weighing under 1kg or under 8 weeks of age with Frontline Spot On.

Do not use in rabbits.
