This listing is for a near-antique Copeland Spode china 10 3/4-inch commemorative plate celebrating the Delaware Tercentenary in 1938 . This plate is a relatively rare first edition as can be seen in the last two pictures. I wasn't able to find the words "1st Edition" in the backstamp of any other listing on the internet. This plate depicts "Zwaanen Dael House" in Lewes, DE.
This plate is in exceptional condition with strong pattern detail and crisp white color. The black banding and inner rings are strong with no noticeable wear. There are no cracks, chips, noticeable scratches or cut marks, or crazing.
There are no issues with the plate that I can see so I would personally classify it to be in "Superior" condition.
