KMTech Design is pleased to offer you the Gotek External Drive Adapter PCB for the Sinclair Spectrum.
The board was originally designed for the Amstrad CPC but works just as well with the Speccy.
To complete this adapter you will need the following components:
This PCB (of course).
1x 2.54mm 34way dual row female pcb pin header
1x 2.54mm 26 way dual row male pcb pin header.
3x 2.54mm 3-way single row male pcb pin header.
3x 2.54mm jumper straps.
There is a facility for fitting three jumpers to the board:
One for making the Gotek drive appear as Drive A.
One for making the Gotek drive appear as Drive B.
One for single sided drive compatibility.
If you are careful you will be able to buy the components to finish this adapter for less than 1 pound!

Please note:
This adapter has been designed for the Gotek drive - it may work with other types of 5 volt drive but we cannot guarantee it.
It will NOT work with a standard diskette drive.
