These special shears remove the drawing lines on a copper foil designs. See the green paper example in photo 2.

With this line removed, this will allow for the extra copper foil tape around each piece of glass so they fit together perfectly.

I find these shears work better by cutting in small stages rather than trying longer cuts. Open and shut the shears a few times after cutting to remove the slither of paper from the shears.
