This is the original color scheme for this 1970s style. Ivory with gold tones, lovely and very Hollywood Regency with a touch of class and elegance. Lovely silohuette and elegant lines, bevels and curves.
These are getting harder to find, unique and handsome details. This is one of our heaviest "watched" items. You can also give this a makeover into a more casual contemporary shabby chic finish as shown in last set of photos.
French Provincial~Southern Dixie style two drawer bedside table (looks like three drawers in photos, but one of the drawers is a double-drawer) nightstand, dresser, or accent side, hallway, foyer or bathroom table. Very handsome design with nice accents such as the curvy, wavy and beveled edges. Antique ivory tone with gold and brass accents and scrolly curly cabriole legs. Solid wood piece, working drawers, one smaller top drawer and one larger bottom drawer (that looks like two). Nicely accented. Backside and bottom of drawers are pressed wood.
Vintage and beautiful piece in the classic French Provincial or Southern Dixie style. Appealing curvy and beveled edges with decorative brass hardware. The overall structure and integrity of these nightstands are tight, solid and sturdy condition. All of the metal hardware is in excellent condition. The inside drawers are very clean and very lightly used as you can see in the photos. Each nightstand can be touched up, given a complete makeover or used as is shabby chic look.
Very good vintage condition, rare and hard to find style. Unique scalloped edges and beveled carvings on the front and the side panels and the beveled curvy and scalloped all around edges provide a touch of flair. These pieces with all of these accents and curvy molding are getting harder to find.
Has scruffs, scrapes, gouges and nicks as might be expected but can be repaired refinished or used as is. If you're crafty you could modernize with two-tone make-over in contemporary colors (reference last photo). Some owners have updated the look of these nightstands with contemporary colors. Please note that the updated make-over versions sell for $489+ each.
