For sale is an original vintage mounted photo that was taken after a thoroughbred horse race at Ellis Park, between Evansville, Indiana, and Henderson, Kentucky, on August 15, 1955. A handful of people pose with jockey D. Headley after he rode Pearly King to victory in the five-furlong race. Pearly King was owned by Ada L. Rice and trained by E.E. New. This 8-by-10 black-and-white photo is housed in its 11-by-13 cardboard mount. It is in very good condition, with thumbtack holes in two corners. See my listings for other vintage items, including other photos and historical memorabilia. I gladly combine shipping fees for multiple purchases when they can be packaged together, and I do ship internationally.

Payment is expected within three days.  Please e-mail me with any questions, and thanks for looking!
