I am 5'7" and full busted so I ordered the L. I really love the warmth and fit of this coat! Close fitting but still has room for heavy clothing underneath. I loved the coat I had, but the zipper tore and broke at the bottom and couldn't be fixed. I read reviews and shopped for a month before deciding on which coat I wanted. The zipper of this coat is metal, not nylon, and is asymmetrical ... I love the look! The hood is fur lined and very soft. The length is perfect and the inner flap has just 2 snaps, the bottom snap near the waist, which allows the inner liner to separate when sitting without overly stressing the bottom of the zipper.The only drawback is that the hood is not detachable. I hesitated getting a coat that needed dry cleaning but I have no regrets. I love it!
I liked this coat better than I expected to. It’s quite casual stylish. It’s warm, the olive green color is nice, the faux fur around the hood is very fluffy. I like the inner gussets at the wrists—keeps cold air from going up your sleeve and covers the tops of gloves. I like the snap in the waist area, so I can throw it on and use that one snap if I don’t need the full zipper. The 2 hip pockets are nice and deep, but those are the only pockets. It would be nice to have an inner pocket, too. I wish the zip zipped both directions (like 2 zippers so you can unzip from the bottom for more flexibility) Since I live in the south, it’s too warm for many of our days, but perfect for our chillest ones!
