Antique bronze sculpture of "Sword dancer"
by Adolf Karl Johannes Brütt (1855 - 1940).
Signed by A. Brütt
Adolf Brütt studied at the Berlin Academy before
moving to Munich, where he became part of the Munich secession. Brütt won a
gold medal in the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1900. A larger bronze version
of his Schwerttänzerin is in the Kiel Rathaus.
The sculpture is in good condition . The swords are not
more available but that makes the bronze not less attractive.
