These original pieces are new and unused. They were painted with lead-free paint so they are food safe. The surface of these items is textured with raised painting which is called the ‘ relief ‘ style. Back of the trivet is foam which keeps the trivet on the tabletop without slipping away, also avoids scratching. It is not only a decoration but also used as trivet – hot plate or spoon holder.
