Pr oProduct Information Plastic i-gaskets suitable for most watches that use a plastic gasket for the crystal. How to choose the correct gasket: Ideally measure the height of the outgoing gasket and select from the sizes on offer in this listing closest to your original gasket. If there is no original gasket you should try to see where the gasket is going to sit and estimate how much vertical height is present. If you choose a gasket that is too big, it either will not fit or it will sit far too high. You can also choose based on the thickness of your crystal. As a general rule: if your crystal is 1mm to 1.3mm thick, then a 0.8mm gasket is correct. If your crystal is 1.5mm to 2mm - a 1.25mm gasket will suffice and over 2mm then you should use a 1.75mm gasket. You can also use a 0.8mm gasket with a 1.5mm crystal if there is a danger that the gasket will sit to high and be visible at the rim - it depends on your watch design. Likewise - many Seiko watches that use thicker crystals work very well with a 1.25mm gasket.
need to look at our other gasket listings. If you have a 28.1mm crystal - a 28mm gasket can generally be used. Otherwise you should choose the size of gasket which matches your crystal diameter. 0.8mm gasket is 0.35mm thick. 1.25 and 1.75mm gaskets are 0.4mm thick.
