Cat's claw cut

The cat's claw is suitable for use as a cat's claw tea, cat's claw infusion or as a cat's claw decoction. The cat's claw comes from Brazil.

The cat's claw plant (Uncaria tomentosa) is a small shrub that is primarily cultivated in South America. The plants are kept as small as possible in order to increase the active ingredient content. Trunk pieces about 5 cm thick are harvested. The wood is cut into thin, chip-like pieces of approx. Cut to a length of 15 cm and dried. Then the cat's claw chips are cut.

The cat's claw contains approx. 2% oxaldol alkaloids.

To prepare a cat's claw tea, 1-2 teaspoons of cat's claw are poured over 500 ml of hot water and left to steep for 10 minutes.

The cat's claw is free of harmful substances and has a shelf life of at least 24 months.
