Colombo root cut

The colombo root is obtained from the kalumba vine (Jateorhiza palmata) collected. The Kalumba liana is primarily cultivated in Ghana, Mozambique, Madagascar and India. After harvesting, the colombo root is sliced and air-dried in the shade. This is how the Colombo root comes to Germany and is then used in approx. Cut into 6mm pieces.

The cut colombo root is used in naturopathy as a tincture, concentrated liquid extract and for tea infusions. To prepare the tea, 1-2 teaspoons of Colombo root are poured over 500 ml of boiling water and left to steep for 10 minutes.

The Colombo root comes from controlled cultivation and is free of harmful substances. Colombor root has a shelf life of at least 24 months.
