this is a rare photography book of a famed Dutch photojournalist, news and street photographer, Simon E. Smit.

entitled "Simon E. Smit Den Haag?  Vertel mij wat!"    1st Edition Hard Cover from 1996.      All Text is in Dutch.    128 pages.   black and white photos of Dutch life, people, royalty, perfomers.   

Smit was a photojournalist in the Netherlands.   Born in 1914.   he passed away in December 2012.      he was a Dutch News photographer, who won the Silver Camera (Dutch Photo Contest) prize in 1955 and 1957 for best press photos  (2 nuns on a roof and a photo of Princess Juliana on a bicycle).   These are included in the book.   other photos include the rolling stones, Marlene Dietrich, many of Dutch life and the people of the Netherlands.
