" Chassis #57260 was delivered by the Zurich agent Bucar on April 12,1935 to the Geneva Bugatti agent J.Sechaud for his customer J.Aellen.
On March 27, 1935, Mr.Jules Aellen from Fribourd, Switzerland, ordered a sports body for his new Bugatti chassis from the Worblaufen shop. J.Allen was the owner of the specialized food store "The Golden Pheasant"( Au Faisan Dore ) at 15 Rue du Tir, Fribourg. The car was delivered at the end of June 1935 and it was issued license number FR11760 in Mr. Aellen's name. A few days later, in July 1935, it was presented at the second Montreux Concours D'Elegance by Mr.and Mrs.Aellen.
It was a sensation and this is what the local press wrote about it :

" On Saturday afternoon in the Montreux Casino Park, the second Swiss Automobile Concours d'Elegance was held. Some forty competitors passed before the Jury and a large public acclaimed the laureates.The Fribourg Representatives in the competition were most distinguished, notably Mr.and Mrs.Aellen of the " Faisan Dore ", in a Bugatti car. They obtained The Grand Prix of Honor with congratulations from the Jury in class 2 (special coachwork). Mrs.Aellen was delightfully dressed and was wearing a hat designed by Miss Ella Schmidt of the " Salon de Haute Mode du Capitole". She was particularly applauded when she presented to the experts and the public the remarkable beige Bugatti, which had been bodied by the Swiss specialists, the Ramseier brothers of Worblaufen (Bern)".
