This exceptional Amiga PSU has been made by Commodore enthusiasts, with enthusiasts and for enthusiasts :) Thanks to your continuous feedback and tips, basing on our successful basic Amiga PSU model (which was copied and crippled by unfair competitors) we've created the ultimate PSU solution for your Commodore Amiga gear. 55 Watts of combined power has been used to drive two parallel output channels, each one capable to power regular Amiga 500 / Amiga 600 / Amiga 1200 or CD32 / A590 devices. Boosted and accelerated Amiga configurations are welcomed as the 5VDC output has been equipped with adjustment potentiometer to trim the main output in range of 5VDC-5.5VDC (measured unloaded). It's just to prevent eventual voltage drop on the connectors/cables for heavy current loads as every single Amiga unit has it's own current requirements (especially when accelerated). It's now possible to set the exact 5.0 VDC for your individual setup.

55W Watts of total has been wisely distributed and it's used for 5VDC rail mainly as 12VDC and -12VDC power consumption is rather marginal in Amiga system. 55W here is not equal to 55W offered by competitors, where most of total power is used for 12VDC rail (wasted). Amiga PSU Duo is simply a blend of reasonable price, features and size. Please refer to Amiga Duo+ PSU for more advanced product (65W, two totally independent and adjustable output channels).

Amiga DUO PSU is packed into durable, professionally molded enclosure assures good air ventilation, mechanical protection and electrical isolation. It holds the trimming potentiometer in discrete and secure location.

Adjustment: potentiometer is on safe, low-voltage side of the PSU and screwdriver hole is guided preventing internal shortcuts, but for your and your equipment protection please always use isolated screwdriver for adjustment process (100% plastic is the best one). Notice rubber cap on the adjustment hole - it should cover the hole during regular usage to protect from dust, objects or liquids dropping in.
