Offered this Antique Ornate Rococo Style Porcelain Dolphin Head Spout Coffee Pot & Sugar Jar measuring approximately 9 1/2"T x 5 1/2"W x 9 1/4"W Spout to handle for the coffee pot, and 8 1/4"T x 5 1/4"W x 6 1/4" handle to handle for the sugar jar. This gorgeous hand painted Rococo style porcelain is decorate with pink & blue flowers and ornate gold gilding typical of the Rococo style. The coffee pot features a scalloped body, dolphin head spout, gold floral finial, and elaborate scroll footed base, with an incised S mark underneath. It is in very good condition, but has some gold loss, one chip on the inside rim, and a very old lead repair to the finial on the lid. The sugar jar has a matching design with scalloped body, rolled scroll handles, gold floral finial, elaborate scroll footed base, and is marked with an incised arrow underneath. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, but also has some gold loss. These 19th century pieces are beautiful examples of the Rococo style and would make excellent cabinet pieces or an addition to a collection!
