Management Features

  • The Emulex OneCommand Manager application enables centralized discovery, monitoring, reporting, and administration of Emulex adapters on local and remote hosts. Powerful automation capabilities facilitate remote driver parameter, firmware and boot code upgrades. Advanced diagnostic features such as adapter port beaconing and adapter statistics help to optimize management and network performance while the environmental monitoring feature helps to maintain optimum host to fabric connections. In addition to the GUI interface, management functions can also be performed via a scriptable Command Line Interface (CLI) as well as a web browser. ESD sensitive device should not be placed in proximity of any sources of ElectroStatic
ESD sensitive device should be protected at all times by storing it in ESD bag or original packaging
Seller will always use ESD (ElectroStatic Discharge) safe bags
Seller will always use Grounded WristStrap while handling ESD sensitive devices
Seller will always minimize time, when ESD sensitive device is not fully protected from ESD
To minimize possibility of damaging ElectroStatic Discharge sensitive Devices you should always follow simple procedure
Ground yourself - either by touching earth directly or indirectly
Wear properly earthed WristStrap or AnkleStrap
Touch ground / soil. Ground should be humid to increase conductivity
Touch earthed part of electric device.
Touch ESD bag FIRST
All items involved in any procedure in which ESD sensitive device is involved should be earthed first in order to equalize potentials
ALWAYS keep this device in ESD bag unless you are using it.
This device should never be handled on carpet, rag, syntetic fabric or partly syntetic fabric, wool or any insulator as this may be potential source of ESD.
Most of fabrics (clothing) is source of ESD too.
Only non-synthetic (like cotton) fabrics are ESD safe.
Wool is not ESD safe and should never be in proximity to ESD sensitive devices.
It is enough to bring source of ESD in proximity of ESD sensitive device in order to damage it.
Damage may be undetectable, but may cause intermittent errors.
