The songs 'Nattvandraren', 'Diabolical Masquerade' and 'Thy Abhorrence' were written during this time. 2006 the project were put on hold. 2010 IME were brought back to life. Johan had a bunch of ideas and started writing new material and rewrite some of the old. 2012 Tommy Holmer joined as a session drummer. They started to record The EP 'Dead To Dust Descend' shortly after. At the end of 2013 In My Embrace came in contact with Sliptrick Records which led to the release of Dead To Dust Descend in the spring of 2014. The EP was a 6 song Swedish melodic black/death metal master piece. For the opportunity to be a real band with the possibility to play live, more members were recruited. The full length album Black Waters Deep was recorded at various locations during 2015 and later mixed and mastered by the same person that also did it on the EP, Jonas Lindström (Ereb Altor, ex-Isole) at Studio Apocalypse. The music on BWD is written by Johan Sjöblom and In My Embrace and the lyrics is written by Bosse Öhman, except Killing Spree that is written by Johan. A guest appearance on the record is done by Teddy Möller (Loch Vostok, ex-FKÜ amongst others), that does the first guitar solo on the song The Road Of Hanging On. The new lead singer, Kenneth Larsson also does a guitar solo on the song Killing Spree. Black Waters Deep is a melodic and powerful piece of Death/Black Metal. Some songs are in a slower pace, melancholic, dark and melodic. Yet others are faster with a more modern melodic black and death metal feeling and structure. The music on the album has a diverse approach on each song and the songs fits in different metal music forums. Depending on the listeners mood and taste, they should appeal to many metal fans all over the world.
