Known also in Europe as Jugendstil or ‘youth style’, the art form began in the 1860s as a result of the Arts & Crafts movement, 
which rejected the mass-produced techniques of industrialization. Art Nouveau developed a new style of exuberant curving lines,

cased is hard to work with! My wife has a BFA in Glass from Tulane, so she regularly schools me on processes, etc..

Measures: 10" tall, 9.25" deep, 4" at widest point/shoulder area, then tapers down to a 2.75" round flat polished pontil area base, 
kind of weighty maybe a pound or more, for a glass vase this is sort of hefty!
